Some questions about BOINC

So, I'm curious, as I don't think I get it.

Running BOINC does not contribute to your Classic statistics whatsoever, correct?

Also, I think I saw there were some optimized clients for BOINC based on CPU type, but not 100% sure on that.

BOINC can run w/o having the screensaver up (ala Classic CLI), correct?

Sorry for the stupidity, but I haven't been paying much attention to that end of things.

You can run BOINC without the screensaver, at least for E@H and Predictor 🙂

You are correct, it does not count toward Seti Classic.

That's the most important thing to me. Thanks for the info.

Means I won't be transitioning off Classic until it dies. 🙂 (that, and I have a dream..a dream that puts me in the top 100 users before Classic shuts down).

At 410, I still have a ways to go. 🙂

i have 757 wu and im in 345073rd place, how many work units is 410?

my goal is 1 year of cpu time
im at 4482 hr i only have to double it lol

As of this second, I have:

183483 WU
64.95 CPU Time
and I'm ranked 405 out of 5,416,863 (which will hopefully change at the end of classic when they clear out all the bunk WU and the people that abused it).
