Oregon is in the Pacific Northwest. Seatle is 600mi north and San Fransico is about 800mi to the south. Shore Acres park, were all of the sea scapes were taken is on the souther coast of Oregon about 100 mi north of the California border. Note that this was a pretty rough day. there was spray above our heads and we are standing on the top of those cliffs you can see in the long range shot down the coast. I love that kind of weather. Normally it would be raining horizontal, this was a sunny day. 🙂

very nice photos... i'm guessing you're using the keiko monocular on a coolpix? 😉 i know becuase i have one. question, are you doing this handheld or with a tripod? nice shots of the water fall, you must have bumped up the shutter speed to 1 second or something.

I have an old Minolta SLR, most likely 200asa film, all of these are hand held, avialable light shots. It was actually pretty bright for the waterfalls, not sure what the shutter speed was, I doubt that it was below 1/30 though (really hard to hand hold below that). These are scanned silver halid, not digtal. The seascapes were taken in '94 and the falls in '97.

I was concerned about those poor souls with slow dial up, I can't do it now (i'm at work) I'll post some bigger ones tomorrow if you want.
