Of course it's safe to visit. It's not quite like other parts of Eastern Europe so you don't have to worry too much. When my friends and I were in Prague, all people did was try to rip us off. Almost every meal we ate, they tried something.
 
This is how workers in restaurants tab up what you ordered. It's confusing and that's to their advantage.

Some of the items were combined to make it even more confusing.

Yeah! While I was there, a guy who was obviously raising money for terrrrrism tried to sell me a soap bar of hash. :shocked:
 
I found Prague to be a safe place. it is a beautiful city and the people seemed to be nice. it is a little pricey though if you stay in the tourist areas. other than that its like most other places in eastern Europe. pretty cheap. i think i will have to live in Prague for a bit before i go back to the states from Kosovo.

two staropramens, two cokes, one apple, salmon with shrimp, salmon with bazel (or something)

But yeah if you go there talking in english, they will rape you 🙂 I can take cab in prague for about tenth of your cost. That is the standard way they tab up restaurant orders though (everywhere in czech)

Its safe, but pickpockets and such are waiting for an opportunity in Prague. Be smart and observant like you would in any other big city and you will have a good time.

Beautiful city. I grew up near Prague and its much cleaner nowdays.
 
oh there are pictures of women, but have to keep it clean. family members like to look at the site. one thing i can say about Eastern Europe is the women are beautiful.
 
Last time I was there in '87 🙁

Just got back from Ukraine couple of weeks ago. I need to post some pictures.
