Just started getting into the photography scene and here are some pictures I took that are on Flickr. Please comment away and tell me what I can do to improve. Thanks!

Big thing that comes to mind is try not to center all of your shots so much. You can start off reading about the rule of thirds, but don't feel obligated to follow it. It's still a good tip though. Also try to frame or time the shots so that the backgrounds are less messy, because messy, complex backgrounds tend to take away from the subject of the photo at times.

did you up the contrast in the new pics? lots of blown highlights in the "pink flower," "no idea," and "hello there" pics

yea i think so. like in the "no idea" pic, the N just vanishes into white. No detail in the highlights. daylight shouldnt produce harsh light like that, unless you had a lamp right above the bag of chips there.

yeah a lot of these are definitely overexposed. You might want to try setting your aperture a bit higher or playing with some more manual settings. On a side note, I'd highly recommend putting the hack on your S3 so you can shoot raw with it.
