yea thats at ISO 1250 after hevy jpeg compression, what did you expect when you compress a 38 meg tif file to a 4 meg JPEG
 
Sorry but I looked at your TIFS and they are grainy too!

That high ISO is the problem. Try keeping it below 200 for better results.

Where did all the pics go? I am undecided between the Digital Rebel and the D70. DReb kit is $900 from amazon, which is $500 less than D70 kit. What is the better deal? I know the D70 is the better camera, I am just not sure if it's $500 better is all...
