Yeah took me about a week to get usedto beatmixing, but still takes me a while when i try to use a song i havent used before..also while both songs are goin its a lil confusing for me to tell which needs to be sped-up or slowed down. You should play with PCDJ red, i think thats it, well its made for numark, its the same format as one of their cdmixers...once u get the hang of it, it would be some nice equipment to have. Or learn to mix on turntables and get that new Stanton "final scratch" (i think thats what its called) and that way u can streame ur computers music to ur turntables to a "dummy" record and use it just like a real one. So what kinda events do u? school dances mostly?

<< Stanton "final scratch" >>

heck yeah! i know several DJ's that are actually transitioning over to Final Scratch for most of their sets...

there's a few cheaper "rip-offs" of it out there already :)

I used PCDJ awhile back, since then i've wised up and use a dual CD player. I could get turntables, but frankly I don't need to, for what I do it would be a total waste of money.

hmm...don't have too many links handy

finalscratch.com is the website

dj craze is know to use it pretty heavily

full setup costs about $1700 though, but you can effectively record all your LP's to a hard drive, and carry nothing 'cept your equipment and a laptop to an event..pretty sweet.
