I finally picked it up :D

Man it's nice, super nice packaging (a 4inch thick foam "pillow" sat between the back of the box and the magnet, plus it was double boxed)

I took some pics of the back side to show the frame, and some excursion pics :)

I hooked it up to the amp I also got from PE (272watt plate amp) and put it so it fire into my Heating/AC ducts.
I started by playing some rap/hiphop, then I went to the bass tones.
Either one would not only fill the house with bass, but rattle the vents so hard you could hear it coming out of the vent on the other side of the room :Q

So far no complaints from the neighbours! :D

Here's some pics:

Super bright pic of Magnet/frame of sub
The writing on the magnet + rubber magnet cover ring
Front face of the sub
Pic of excursion from the front of the sub

And now for the REAL excursion pic.
This was taken with a 1/2second shutter, no flash, just a light shining on the tinsel leads (the streaks in the pic :D)

Excursion pic from underside, highlighting the tinsel leads

Needless to say, I'm :D :D

I was originally planning on a 8cf net box tuned to ~17hz with a single 6inch port...... but then I remembered that I dont want to haul around a 150lb box, so I think I'll stick with a ~3.5cf sealed box.

Your not suppose to run subs without being in a box, you can damage the voice coil as it smacks into the bottom plate. Just a small test maybe to insure it works but don't crank it up til it's properly install in the enclosure.

It wasn't hitting the top plate, and I'm pretty sure this sub would run out of Xsus before hitting the top plate anyhow.
I wont fire it up again until I pop it into a box though.
