So I don't know if this is where to post a rant but seriously today was interesting at work. I work in a retail job (Walgreens) and today I had a few interesting customers. First one is: This guy comes to the photo counter wanting to get his ink cartridges refilled. I take his phone number which is the standard process and ask him if he had a certain time he wanted them. He responds "Now." So I asked him if he wanted to wait for about 15 minutes while we fill it. The guy goes "I want it now. How come it takes 15 minutes?". I said "Well it takes 15 minutes to fill a cartridge." The guy responds "Oh WELL I don't want to do that" and then leaves.
I guess at the time I thought it was just insane but now that I look back at it I can maybe see a possibility that he thought we just gave him a new cartridge or something. But seriously I don't know.
Then I was in the pharmacy and we had our usual 2 lines of customers. Each line had 2 people and the far left area of the pharmacy we have another window that's open but not for dropping off. It doesn't have the drop off sign like our other window. This guy comes to the far left window and goes "Can I drop this off here?" I'm like "Uh the drop off line is over there sir." He was like "Don't you have a drop off for the usual customers?". I'm like "What do you mean, like a drop off box?". He said "Yeah." I just laughed and said "Sorry sir you're gonna have to wait in that line over there." I didn't make him mad as I try very hard to be good about everything. But the laugh just had to come out.
Lmao, a drop off prescription box? That's a great idea!
So that's my rant! Goodnight.
