This is how we ended up with 3 of our 9 cats. 🙁

i always new there was something wrong with you, now we have proof, 9 freaking cats!
can you say teriyaki?

He needs a Rottweiler to fix that problem. A friend of mine bred rottweilers. The sire killed 2 cats when he was in his pen. One came into his pen and the other he killed through the wires of his pen.

I've had 2 Rottweiler mixes.

1- Rott/St. Bernard 200 lbs of love. 🙂 He loved the cats. Unfortunately he got bone cancer in one of his front knees and we had to put him down.

2- Rott/Beagle, he's not bothered by cats either.

We also currently have a female Pit Bull mix. She doesn't bother the cats either.

You keeping 'em? If not, post your location maybe someone here will want to adopt it.

Good idea. Just don't give it to the pound or its off to puppy heaven.

My sister knows a family with a young girl that is looking for a lab. It would be the PERFECT place for him if they want a golden retriever instead. (A GR is what he appears to be to me, but I am not a breed expert) If not, then I'll see what happens. BTW, he isn't going to just anyone, as we are extremely choosy on stuff like this.

Also, I hardly ever take animals to the pound. I've had numerous bad experiences with the animal shelter down here. They are jerks and make you feel like you are giving YOUR dog away.
