And you didn't tell him to STFU why?

yeah, so instead of looking like a "jerk", you look like a passive-aggressive doormat who goes and complains online about a situation he can't handle in real life. good job. ;)

I'm amazed that the guy was allowed to talk for 20 minutes and nobody said anything! That's like a quarter of a movie...

owned.

Seriously, anyone who doesn't immediately say "I'll call you back", "I'll be right there" or "Start prepping the OR and get my scrubs" gets a proper STFU, followed by a hail of candy. I'm willing to bet you weren't alone in your disgust. All it takes is one person to start the ball rolling, and the whole theatre will be right behind you.

Unless, of course, the movie really sucks, and eavesdropping is more entertaining.

Politeness would be a "Excuse me, can you please carry on your conversation elsewhere? Thank you. :)"

I've got twenty bucks that says she dumps your ass for an outlaw biker in the same length of time you two have been dating.

Common sense? It has less to do with common sense more than it has to do with manners.

Nothing to do with common sense, everything to do with being an inconsiderate blowhard.

That is not a lack of common sense in that situation.. it is a display of how inconsiderate and selfish that person is towards others. Rude people are taking over this planet.
