So over the summer while browsing some school forums, this girl IMed me, we talked for a bit..then I lost interest, and would drop hints by never replying with more than 2 words at a time..that lasted maybe 3 days, then I just stopped replying to anything she said altogether.

Thanks to Trillian, here's how all the last convos have gone..

[16:31] her: hey
[16:31] Me: hey
[16:32] her: are you 21?
[16:32] Me: no

Then the ignoring begins..

[00:45] her: hi

Sun Aug 31 00:49:25 2003
[00:49] her: oh i went fishing today
[00:49] her: we caught these like 6" fish from the ocean
[00:49] her: should've been there. out in the cold

Fri Sep 05 00:54:35 2003
[00:54] her: yo

Sat Sep 06 01:21:48 2003
[01:21] her: wow 26% warning

Tue Sep 16 00:37:52 2003
[00:37] her: hey wnted to say hi after a long no tal
[00:37] her: lk

And now FOUR months later..

[19:46] her: is saw your party pictures. it looks fun, and i want to go to your parties

IIRC, it just makes you not show up online to them, it doesn't tell them that you don't want to accept IMs from them. It's not rude.
