So I was coming out of NYSC (I finally brought myself to start losing some of these stereotypical geek fat), and I get into my car as some other guy pulls up in an SUV. When he opens the door, he taps my car (it was audible from inside my car while I was sitting in it). So I get out and start inspecting my door panel to see if there was any damage as the guy starts to walk away. As I am going around, and bend down, the guy turns around and is like "What's your problem". I said, politely (I made sure of this, because I didn't want to make a scene) "Sir, you hit my car with your door as you opened it." Then he said "No I fvcking did not". So I said, "Sir, I heard you hit it, so I am inspecting my door." He begins to walk off, and I didn't notice any damage. I can't tell if there is any damage yet, because it is dark out, and my garage only provides so much illumination with flourescent bulbs. I took down his license plates number just in case there is any damage. Did I do anything wrong in how I handled the situation? I just wanted to vent, because I hate how people have no respect for others property, and this is one of the reasons why I will not park on campus at my high school.
