Ehhh - it's a rich race car driver. If you had that kind of money (it's an $8 mil condo in Miami), sometimes this is what you do with it. lol
Also it's not actually a car. At least, not an actual Pagani Zonda R. It isn't made clear in that article (I found a few that didn't even mention that fact, instead parade it as one of the actual 15 Zonda Rs ever built) but this is actually just a shell, no guts.

Wait, this is a better article:

I honestly don't care - and I love it when rich people spend all their money to the point of losing it all. Mmmmm all that delicious tax revenue and contribution to jobs...

I've been to some of my wealthier clients' homes, which are in the $15 million range. The stuff I've seen is ridiculous. Training rooms for bodyguards, glass elevators, large waterfalls inside the home, a glass floor with a scale model of the city, Lego heads everywhere, gold fixtures, etc. Really anything goes for the mega-wealthy.

I've seen none of that. The nicest homes I remember being in are in my family, but none of them are that way. My brother had a room with a pool table, I'd have that if I could.

If I ever made it big and had a huge house, I'd get 2 bowling lanes put in. Having your own bowling lanes would own. You just need a lot of space for it.

I always thought that would be so cool. I don't even bowl much, but to actually own bowling lanes would be pretty awesome. Probably do a room that just has a bunch of stuff like that, bowling lanes, arcade machines, air hockey, ping pong, all that stuff.

IMO the best thing you can spend money on when rich is your own property/physical items. These are things that you can enjoy for a long time. If I was into cars I could totally see myself doing something silly like the post in the OP. For me I'm more into tech stuff, so I'd try to get my hands on something rather exotic, like a Univac computer or something.
