Some people hate summer for cpu temps, but not me :)

I thought I hit my peak after putting a ghetto duct on my HSF and hitting 2250mhz with my lil XP 2100... I was doin about 32c idle and 46c load with an SK7 / TT Smart fan 2 combo... then the heat came and i started hitting 44c idle.

So I figured its time to pull the AC upstairs to my computer room to try and chill things out. After sweating my a$$ off luggin the thing upstairs, i got an idea :light: Since I was already all sweaty and gross from moving the AC, why not move my desk right next to the AC and see what happens?

Well, this is what happened

I need to move somewhere warm so I can do this all year round :)

software isnt trippin. 10c ambient = 50f which is about right for the temp in the case since its sitting about 4 inches away from the A/C with the side of the case off.

23c = 73.4 F which is plausible since not only is the air temp cooler but then its being sucked into a duct by a fan that pushes 75cfm over a SK7 heatsink. Also thats just whats being pushed over the heatsink. the air around the heatsink is frigid as well.

On another bright note, just to follow up, I managed to get her up to 2400mhz after figuring out how to combat my HD corruption. I kept having problems with HD corruption after hitting around 192fsb... couldnt figure out why since I had this HD up to 41.3mhz pci before with no problem.. read a post on amdmb forums.... turned ATA100 back to ATA66....... 200fsb so far stable :)
