the drive itself. I thought i would share this. We wrapped up a coast to coast drive in our 1966 mustang, from the atlantic to the pacific. We caught route 66 in oklahoma and tried to stay on the 66 alignment whenever we could. This link goes to a mustang forum that holds our trip, and some pictures. The pictures start on the 2nd page, once we catch route 66.

The mustang is a 1966 coupe "c" 289 2v c4. It has mustang II IFS with rack and pinion, power steering, power brakes, discs on all 4 wheels, a/c, console, and has proven itself more then a daily driver. 🙂

Enjoy the trip:

Coast to Coast

the trip, over 3000 miles, cost us the following:

1. voltage regulator 16.00$
2. battery 45.00$
3. rear axle bearing 56.00$ for part and press on to axle

Not bad for a 40+ year old car.
