Just give him a LINK where all the information about the auction is already prefilled and he just click PAY NOW! Much easier that way rather than just giving an email address.

I agree with this and everything else that kranky has said in this thread. I will only send paypal now using the "pay for it now" button on ebay. IF someone emailed me and said "pay to a different account" I wouldn't do that either. I would respond to your emails though out of courtesy telling you why I wouldn't pay to a seperate account. But I will follow the links that Ebay/Paypal provide together in case something goes wrong I have a much better trail. It's not his fault you can't link your auctions properly and are trying to save $1.50.
