Well, it appears I did. Learned it just today. There is a girl at work, her desk is right next to mine. I always thought I knew her name and called her by it. At least that's what she said her name was when we first got acquainted. Then today, there came a question from another department. And it became clear the name she told everybody was like... not hers! I mean, WTF. She said she liked to go by the name that she thought suited her best. Still, pretty freaky if you ask me.

It is different. Where I reside everybody goes by their first name. Well, now I see almost everybody.
