We don't have a problem with religion, just Christians. No other religion has such disregard for other peoples beliefs that it encourages members to preach to people of different faiths (or no faith).
If you promise to get Christians of all denominations to stop preaching about how great Jebus is to those of us who don't care, we won't have to discuss how annoying you all are. Win-Win.
If you're supposed to care about people and you believe that your religion is the only way to God, then I guess it's commendable that Christians are trying to save souls.

That right there is the problem, bro.
Most religious people believe their religion is the "true" one...or they wouldn't participate. Why do you think it's only Christianity?

This forum is pretty tame as always. Maybe you got old and had kids and you changed?

I never said that. I said only christians are forced/encouraged to save (annoy) everyone that is not christian.

It would be uncaring if you believed you could save the souls of unbelievers and you still didn't encourage your followers to reach them. In that way, it's commendable.

Commendable? Maybe, from one point of view. Pretty goddamned fucking annoying from another.

Nice try, but christians are commanded to evangelize. Trying to say it's out of the goodness of their hearts is a cop out. If you're christian, that means you're lying to yourself and others about the word of jebus. Will you go to hell for this? I hope not, and not because I'm a christian, but because I'm a nice guy. using logic and reason isn't enough, you have to be a dick to everyone who doesn't think like you; Science be praised!

They're commanded to save souls (err, recruit). If a religion doesn't do this, it dies. Still, you think Christianity is the only one.

Hmm...

404: "GRAMMAR FAIL" not found.

...unless you're making a big deal about capitalization.

In that case:

GRAMMAR FAIL: Identified.

GRAMMAR FAIL: Corrected.

touche.

I still don't think the topic is grammatically correct.

If you notice, this forum tends to have more liberal posters. Liberals claim to be about tolerance and understanding, but they are quick to bash, ridicule, and make fun of anyone that doesn't believe what they believe.
It's odd to say, but if you want more mature posters, go to the [H].

I can definately see a downward slide of postings here since I joined. A lot of it seems to be spill over from P&N. Honestly, I think I noticed the change in quality of postings here when the mods went from anonymous to being known. For some reason it gave certain people carte blanche to act like complete dicks.

most of the conservative posters were forced out. hell, most of the tech people have been chased off. and i agree, it's mostly from a sewage spill from p&n.

Islam?
Hinduism?
Buddhism?
Judaism?

Of all the major religions in the modern world, which ones other than christianity have missions across the planet for the purpose of recruitment?

Dear rudeguy

God still believes in you, despite the heathen bastards that post here.

Your friend in Christ,

lol, the Persecution Complex is alive and well. There's approx a 50/50 split in P&N.

Why do people who believe something so ridiculous feel the need to post about it when they know it'll only bring on troll posts?

Your personal beliefs should...I don't know...maybe stay personal?

This is the Internet, where people are free to act in ways they normally wouldn't. What do you expect?

Sounds like you just espoused a personal belief. Get it out of here!
