I originally had this in the general hardware forum, but thought it would be more appropriate here:

Hi there. Well I'm new to overclocking. I was wondering if someone can provide a few tips...

I want to overclock my Abit BP-6 motherboard and cpu's. Right now, it's running at (I think...pretty sure because I never oc'd it, don't know how) 66 mhz bus. I heard it can go up to 133 mhz bus speed?

I have 2 celeron 466 chips in it, not overclocked, and the general fan. I don't know what kind of fan it is. They are clear fans, and when I got them, they were retail boxed. They are pretty quiet, and look nice, but I have no idea what kind of fans they are. They look similar to the fans I have on my cyrix 166...I know...that must mean that they suck, right?

If I upgrade it to 133 mhz bus, and overclock it, do I need to get new fans? And do I need to get new RAM? Have pc100 and pc66 ram in it now, 256 MB.

Also, I want to be able to overclock my new Elsa Gladiac Geforce2 GTS w/ 32 MB DDR RAM on it. I saw in reviews that I can overclock this thing big time, to like 50% more than it does normally. How do I do this, what kind of software?

General question:

Is there such a thing as a slotkey Pentium 3 1 Ghz+ processor? I have a P3 right now in a Soyo mobo, 450 Mhz, and the guy I'm buying it from said that I can put a 1 Ghz+ slotkey p3 chip in there. what's the fastest slotkey p3 chip available?

Please help me out guys...I don't want to pay for a Geforce and not be able to do as good as a Radeon in high res :(. The main reason I got it was to overclock it.

Thanks,

Tibor
