DO NOT STAY HERE!!! You will only be miserable after getting ripped off. It's not really so much the amount that we paid, but the principle of the thing. My sisters and I were in PCB to be with another sister that was having a medical procedure done the week of Thanksgiving. We registered to stay 2 nights and when we went to our room, there were bugs crawling on the walls above the bed and in the bathroom. We immediately put our luggage back in our car and went back to the front desk and asked for a refund. We weren't even in the room for 5 minutes. The staff was rude and laughed at us. We were told that the bugs were "indigenous" to the area... What a joke! It's amazing how at one place the bugs are so indigenous that they can't get rid of them, but every other place that I have stayed in PCB doesn't have bugs and I go there at least once a year, usually twice. I wonder how they do it! (loads of sarcasm here) I guess they do this to unsuspecting customers so much that it's funny to them. I hope that one day they get ripped off too so that they know exactly how it feels. Of course, I guess that there are some people that are just dirty and don't mind the bugs. After finding another place down the road for not much more, we had a lovely visit and a clean place to lay our heads. Nothing about The Sandpiper Beacon was good. I wouldn't stay there if someone PAID ME!
