thanks...I was using a sony A6300 with a Tamron 150-600mm (with Sony EL4 adapter)....cloudy most of the day (yesterday's show was cancelled because of rain and more rain was in the forecast for 4PM so they did an abbreviated show but all of the main performers did their acts)....

Those are fantastic shots, especially the one showing the vapor forming as it passes through the sound barrier. How did you time it or was that just a lucky shot?

We go to the show at Barksdale each year and it’s a blast.

The issue was with some possibly faulty fuel tubes...the two F-35's at the show were inspected and were cleared to fly on Friday....

I guess there was so much moisture in the air that these appeared very easily today....none of the planes broke the sound barrier in the show (they are not allowed to here as it would shatter windows in the area)...even the thunderbirds had the vapor trails while they performing (not the smoke from their tailpipes...I will dig up some shots of it)...

Barksdale, La does not have an airshow every year anymore but every other year. <sad panda>
