Some ocing questions

I understand cpu overclocking pretty well, what I'm wondering about is video card ocing. I've got a 6800 gt in NF4 lanparty with a athlon 3500+. I don't want to shell out for another 6800 until the prices drop some more and then I'll SLI it, so for now I want something free.

I read some simple guides on video card ocing and have been using powerstrip to push the gpu and ram speed up while testing it with 3dmark2005 (and later by playing hl2). I am getting decent gains, but I'm wondering if I should increase the voltage. Is this a bad idea? And is this even an option in the NF4 lanparty bios? I couldn't find it anywhere. While I was looking, I noticed that there's an option for chipset voltage--and I was wondering why anyone would want to increase that? To get higher FSB numbers? It seems like it would be very strange to make a bios that can increase that but not increase the video card voltage.

Ok, thanks for your help; I may end up getting another 6800 so I can run half life 2 in 1680 by 1050 with AA and all that stuff. But I think the price may drop a lot in the coming months, and I ought to wait. Right now AA sends fps into the basement.
