Some nVidia hardware firewall questions...

So far I have a couple of problems and questions with this firewall.

1. Does this firewall only function on the nVidia networking host adapter, or does it work on other adapters such as the Marvell as well? I ask this because the ActiveArmor application allow dialog comes up when only my Marvell adapter is plugged in. Windows Firewall does not have this problem: it only comes up when the adapter on which it is enabled is functioning. So, summarizing: When I use the Marvell adapter, I'm bombarded with two firewall dialogs: both the nVidia ActiveArmor and Windows Firewall, even when the nVidia adapter isn't in use.

2. I'm not able to disable the nVidia network adapter. Windows gives me the error "It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. This connection may be using one or more protocols that do not support Plug-and-Play, or it may have been initiated by another user or the system account."

If anyone does not have these problems please reply and tell me how you have the firewall set up.

Thanks

there are NUMEROUS bugs in the firewall, I stopped using it, just gave up. NOTE it will also consume more CPU then the Win FW.

Good luck,
Simon
