Some new tracks me and some buddies made

Here are some links to some 128bit mp3's i mixed down from the demo I produced for my friend Angel. I didn't make all the tracks, but I did mix/record the vocals for alot of them and then did work on the entire demo. Angel brought some rough tracks to me and I fixed them up. Basically, after about a month of good collaboration, we assembled about 24 good tracks to demo his skills and an MC. We have a wide variety of beats and cuts, so please enjoy them. If you don't like one, just try another. Angel already has alot of attention in our area (Metro East of St. Louis, the Illinois side) We all grew up in Belleville (aka Bel Vegas) which is right next to East St. Louis.

pretty good productin and lyrics, has some real potential. pretty clever stuff, and stays away from the whole 'bling bling' and 'this hoe and that hoe' topics that you always hear on the radio. but on a couple tracks, i wasnt really feeling the hook to be honest. like on 'death', i dont know what it is exactly, but the song moves at such a rapid pace, and the flow kind of goes off track when that hook is used that way. id probably try to go with something that is in the same flow of the song to keep it a lot tighter. but i like the production a lot, and i like how he's not afraid to try different genre's infused, like on 'beat the case', with the 'satisfaction' guitar riff sampled in. im still kind of mixed on the r&b-ish tracks though. may have to grow on me. but overall, not too shabby.

beef is pretty good, beat the case is good, they are all good imho. Death is a lil weird. But they are all pretty good for a demo.

I listened to beef, and thought it was really good. However, I think the vocals are too loud in relation to the beat. If you have another version thats more balanced, i would gladly dload it. 🙂

i just listen to about half of them and i really dont like rap but he does have a talent.

beef, at the begining sounds a lot like a MP3 i have of Alan Parson Project - a dream within a dream with the opening narrated with poetry from Edgar Alan Poe. then when he starts rapping he sounds a lot like Eminem.
