The car models are amazing, very meticulous. Hopefully it plays awesome too.

EDIT: Apparently, the original link has been edited. New direct link.

Definitely looks good.

I've been playing the heck out of Forza 2 lately and loving it. Can't wait till GT5: Prologue. Hopefully the PS3 will be under $300 by then...otherwise I'll just be looking forward to Forza 3.

I've heard the garage shots are going to look nicer than in-game due to using ray-traced lighting in the garage. But it may not be the garage, but rather the 'showroom' where you buy the cars. I can't remember but I do remember reading where you view the cars is using ray-tracing for added 'umph'.

I think it was PGR3 photos.

I don't think they need to anymore...the videos they've been putting out speak for themselves (well minus the two plane trees).

I'm looking forward to this and PGR4...but I have to say, Forza 2 is quite the solid game. Not as pretty as GT5: Prologue....but the depth of simulation and how well the gameplay feels is amazing. It really is neat to see how well they've implemented the upgrades and how true the physics feel as you modify different parts of your car.

I never liked ultra realistic racing games. That's why I like PGR the most, it strikes a balance between simulation and arcade. I also love it's car interiors. I'm waiting more for PGR4 and Burnout.

Huh? Isn't Prologue supposed to be a free download due sometime this December? Do you mean GT5 itself? I think that is due sometime next fall/winter (2008). I'm kinda doubtful the PS3 will be under $300 by then.

No, GT5: Prologue is not a free download, it is a full game itself with over 50 cars, 5 tracks, and 16-player online support. Also it's in 1080p. 😀

So can you buy it in stores in the US?

Hot damn, those are some good graphics. I lost interest in Gran Turismo after the third one came out it was too much realism for me and not enough arcade type action. That and I pretty much suck at all racing games.

How many cars did Forza ship with and with how many cars will PGR4 ship?

The whole, "Buy our game for full price then play more for new cars" doesn't really... entice me.

Yes, I have seen some sites with pre-orders already.

I didn't realize it was coming out that soon...oh well. PS3 is not on my shopping list for the holidays.

Forza 2 has 300 I believe. Not sure how many PGR will ship with, but judging from what they started with in PGR3...I'd imagine somewhere in the 100's.

I hate that in racing games. You play for like a 100 hours and take 20 licensing tests and you end up with a souped up Honda S2000. I'd expect to be racing F1 cars by that point. That's what annoyed me the most about Gran Turismo 3.

I wish I had another reason to buy a PS3... I'd really like to play this game but spending over $500 to play one game doesn't make much sense.
