I'm being tempted to join the dark side and learn .Net. I'm a Java programmer now and have been for the past 4 years. I've been doing web application development during that time. I started out with VB (around 5 years exp). Mainly desktop apps that accessed Oracle and SQL Server DBs as well as one enterprise type distributed app using COM/DCOM.
The question is which .Net language should I learn? Theres VB.net, C#.net, C++.net, ASP.net and probably more that I don't know. I'm not using it for work, although I could convince my boss to try it out. It's mainly to learn on my own and in a year or so be able to put it on my resume.
Anyone know where to get started???
