alright, i know the motherboards seem a bit old, and there are much better boards out now, but these are relatively cheap in price and i was wondering which one would be the best.

Soyo Dragon Plus
Abit KR7A
Epox 8KHA+
Soltek Sl-75DRV5

Out of all, soyo was the most expensive and abit being the cheapest. Any suggestions? Personal experiences with the boards are a welcoming addition. List any problems you had with any of the boards. Thanks a lot :) Please also tell me if there are better boards out to use with the AMD XPs, IF they are under $100 :) I'm only considering SOYO because they have a lot of onboard stuff.

Epox. Make a poll.

edit: I don't have experiences with any of these boards. But people in this forum can back the Epox. Maybe look into the new SIS motherboards in the market -like the Abit KX7. Might be worth checking out.

I`m using the Epox 8KHA+ & can tell you it`s one very easy board to setup with only one jumper on the board(100/133mhz FSB)to worry about, stability wise it`s excellent and I now use it as my hardcore gaming rig,no problems at all.

I read some really good reviews about the KR7A-Raid and the soltek SL-75DRV5.... any one have any experiences with those boards? Everyone in newegg seemed to like those boards.

I have always used Asus m/b's except for my last 2 boards.
They were both Soltek SLR-dv2 and I RMA'd them both.
Just bad luck i'm not sure.
