0...vroom, one one-thousand, two one-thousand, three one-thousand, four one-thousand, five one-thousand, six one-thousand...ugly. 😀

It's about time they updated the 3 series. When I test drove a 2003 model a few years ago, it felt like I was sitting in a 5 year old car.

yeah... they should have left them straight and true and more prominent instead of cutting them angularly...

I'd like to revise my opinion of the 6-series to say that it's stunning. A neighbor just got one, and I can't take my eyes off it. She never guns it though.... Still, what a sweeeeet car.

And the new 3-series still rocks.

I would agree that the coupe is, but the cabrio, especially with top up, looks like ass!

Then, when you consider iDrive and all the other techno wizardry, the whole car loses a lot of appeal to me.

BMW cans 2 & 4 Series

01/09/2004 10:46
BMW has scrapped plans for introducing the 2 and 4 Series model ranges.

Rumours had it earlier that the coupé and cabriolet versions of the next 3 Series would have been badged 4 Series.

It was also expected that the 1 Series coupé and cabriolet would have been marketed as 2 Series models.

However, now the company has announced that it decided against the introduction of the 2 Series and 4 Series badging.

The coupé and cabriolet versions will rather be part of the 1 and 3 Series line-up.

I like the older 3 series (I believe 96-99) and the older 5 (99.) The 2001 7 was beautiful.

you dont find the shapes rather jaded by now?

i like the coupe up to 2002, and i like the sedan up to 2001

i think after those years for each, bmw messed with the headlights and made them all wussy curved.
