Some more college questions

I'm currently attending a Tech School for an associates degree in Network Admin/Analyst. Anyways I'm now planning on continueing on somewhere to get a 4 year degree just for the reason that I think I'll be needing it, and have no problem continuing to be in school.

Anyways I was looking at going to Bellevue University in Nebraska. They accept a full transfer of an associates degree, so I won't have to take general education credits over again most places I've looked at would still require quite a few classes extra general ed classes be taken.

So I was looking at going for a CIS degree in Networking. I want to stay away from a CS degree because of how much math is involved.

Anyways first off, has anyone here gone to this school or know someone who has gone to the school, or does anyone have any comments about it.

Second off, I noticed on the application form it asks * Have you been suspended from another institution?
I got suspended in high school for 5 days in 11th grade for breaching the networks security or something like that.

Is that something I'd need to mention and does that show on my high school transcript?

That turned out to be long, but I could really use some comments on all of this thanks!

It shouldn't appear on your contract. All they care about is GPA, difficulty of classes, and how balanced you are.

Well that brings up one more question. I didn't do much in high school, in other words had a 2.4 GPA or something around there. I currently Have a 3.8GPA at the 2 year school I'm going to right now. Will they more than likely look at an associates degree's GPA than my high school GPA?

high school suspensions aren't even considered or seen.

They'll want to see your high school and your 2 year school GPA. You'll need to send both transcripts. Having a better, more recent GPA will definitely give you a boost though, as it shows that you've been improving your grades considerably. If you have to write an essay or a personal statement of some sort, explaining the low high school GPA can only help you.

So when applying I just mark "* Have you been suspended from another institution?", as a No then?

I've never seen that on a college app.

I don't even think they'll look at HS grades at all...

Well here's my big questions. Should I mark on the application that I've been suspended or should I check no.
Bellevue is basically open admissions. Check yes, check no, it doesn't matter. They're going to let you in either way.
