ATI Technologies recently said at press-conference that in several month time the company?s drivers for graphics cards would take advantage of dual-core microprocessors. The move will allow users of systems running chips with two engines to get higher performance in games.

Well, I don't really know what "several months" mean to ATi. It could mean 6 or more I guess, but nVidia already have beta, or close to official, DC drivers... Well, I hope they get em out soon...

Hopefully more websites will start benching with dual AND single core processors soon so we can see which cards are the best.
And with Oblivion out soon, and IIRC it's multi threaded (I could be wrong), it's going to be interesting to see how the games are affected both by dual core processors, and dual core drivers.
