Some kids tried to shoot my wife with a paintball gun *updated*

Well my wife just called all frantic and what not, apparently she went out to her car to get some of her school materials when she felt something whiz by her head. She turned around and saw a group of kids about 150-200 yards away and knew they were shooting something at her. She ran back inside our apartment as she heard a couple more paintball's fly by. Happy ending though, so she calls the police and tells them what is going on and they rush over...and actually catch the kids! Apparently there are like 15 of them and that's pretty much all I know right now. I was thrilled to hear that they were actually caught, typically you hear about something like this and no one is ever held responsible. I have no idea if any damage was done to the cars/buildings in our complex....I'll keep those interested updated.

UPDATE:
well as many of have commented, nothing has come of the event. apparently the cops just let them go without even taking names (from what i have been told)...they felt that since it was a paintball gun it wasn't serious enough or some bullshit. and since my wife didn't specify she wanted to press charges nothing will be done....blah

Who shoots at random people? Even if they were just paintballs, if someone didn't realize that doing that crap could get your ass shot...by a real gun.

If that shows up in your paper tomorrow, they should follow Chris Rock's headline suggestion of "Sh!tty Parents Raise Stupid Kids".

no pepper spray? figure the best way to deal with paintballers is to run towards them. every shot they give u is incriminating...and justifies more pepper spray in the face😛 sounds good no?
