Me and my friend were hanging out waiting for another buddy of ours to pick us up. We were heading to the local Humane Society to volunteer like we always do. We were waiting near the on ramp to make it easier for our friend to get us.
Just then a little kitty walks across the road and into oncoming traffic! I jumped out in front of an oncoming car (some POS cavalier) and stopped it just before the kitty got hit. The guy in the car must not have seen the kitty because he started to honk his horn at us. So I smile at him since he must be having a rough day.
Then as I'm walking off the curb I see that he has a tire that's almost flat. I kick the tire to check the pressure and it was definitely getting flat. I was just about to inform him that it was flat when he slams on the gas, opens his car door, knocks me over, and drives off. He really hurt me and I couldn't go help at the Humane Society.
This is why I like kitties way more than people. I bet he only cared that I can't afford a good dentist and a belt because of the recession and I donate 95% of all I earn to the Humane Society.
