Some interesting stats: those who crunch 5 projects or more ...

This is an interesting stats-page about crunchers doing 5 projects or more...

These stats are only about those crunchers who have crunched - are crunching at least 5 BOINC-projects concurrently and where no project uses more than 95% of all the resources available. I checked the first 500 - by eye - have not used scripting since I do not have a list of current TA-members 🙁 and I saw a number of well known team-mates:

__3. Mondobyte
__6. amd.borg
_56. Sofa King
142. Alan J. Simpson
165. Petrusbroder
237. Christian Diepold (=Black Mountain Cow)
244. DRingdahl
340. idlorj

I stopped looking when the RAC got below 1000 because it takes time. Since I do not know the names of all TA-members I just listed those I did recognise - I am very sure that I have missed a whole bunch of team mates because I did not look well enough - please forgive me for that and post your stats in this thread!

Here are a number of other interesting lists ...

In the list of who is currently doing the most work mondobyte is 31th,the RA is 49th amd.borg is 58th,and shuxclams is 78th so Anandtech has 4 of the top 100 current producers in BOINC.

Thx Peter, that's a nice find! I had no idea I was "that high" up in the ranks with my mini fleet 🙂

Looks like the really big players focus on just one project.

Darn straight! 🙂 I tried Rosetta for a little while but kept getting a bunch of corrupted units, so I figured I'd give that a rest for a little bit. If the Orbit@Home folks could get their project funded, I'd be all over that like stink on .. well, you get the idea. 😉

Gah, now that you mention it, the chassis on top of my closet hasn't produced anything for rosetta in a few days. I need something simple & hassle-free that can run well on Intel. I never did figure out how to use hyperthreading to my advantage with SoB.

shuxclams will be much higher on that list shortly..... 😉

I'm having to continually purge stuck work units. I have neither the time nor the inclination to report them. At this point, about all I can do is to discontinue Rosetta. Unsticking clients is getting very dull and boring.

I would love for Orbit@Home to get going. I'd be right there with you ... 6 billion flies can't all be wrong 😉
