One of my friends needs help:
QUOTE:
i dont ever go for intel at all, but i was building a dvr cam server for our surveilance at work so i figured i'd try intel out. some one said for cam servers its good to go with intel, besides the dvr 16 cam card i bought only worked with intel or something like that.
my system:
Motherboard: MSI 915P Neo2 Platinum
Video: ATI (Connect3D) Radeon X700 PRO 256MB DDR3/PCI-E/TV-Out/DVI
Memory: - DDR2 (800) 6400 - 1 GB (2 pcs 512) Corsair
Processor: - Intel P4 640 3.2GHz LGA775 2MB 800 FSB
so anyway,
5 minutes after xp is loaded my pc will guaranteed freeze every time.
it also turns on by it's self minutes after i shut it down.
all hardware fans are running fine. the only heat issue i may have noticed was the south bridge chip which was quite hot at 48.8 C. is that normal?
other wise the system temprature is usually around 38C at the most, and i have front-side-top-rear fans working at full blast.
this is irritating.
