Some help with Coppermine and ImageMagick?

Posted this in software, but it's not getting much attention, so I figured i'd try it here too since a lot of people are hosting pics...

Hello,
I'm trying to get my Coppermine gallery to work, but it just doesn't seem to want to. I installed ImageMagick to C:\ImageMagick, and told coppermine to use it and that it was at "C:/ImageMagick/". When I try and upload a picture though, I get the following error:

The picture 'albums/userpics/car1~2.jpg' can't be inserted in the album

Error executing ImageMagick - Return value: -1


Warning: exec(): Unable to fork [C:/imagemagick/convert -quality 80 -antialias -geometry 133x100 "c:\inetpub\wwwroot\cpg1.2.1\cpg1.2.1_standalone\albums\userpics\car1~2.jpg" "c:\inetpub\wwwroot\cpg1.2.1\cpg1.2.1_standalone\albums\userpics\thumb_car1~2.jpg"] in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\cpg1.2.1\cpg1.2.1_standalone\include\picmgmt.inc.php on line 131

What does this mean? What am I doing wrong?

imagemagick for windows is something I've not had much luck with.

I don't think that's imagemagick's problem because if it was then coppermine would have caught it during the setup, it checks for major things during setup after you specifiy the location of it. I don't know enough about how it works, but I'd try setting it up from scratch again.

try the imagemagick.com forums, the author of the software 'magick' is very helpful there.

Just a note, I had a bitch of a time trying to get NetBPM working on a Windows XP machine. I had to get an older release of the binaries to get it to work I think. Not to mention the binaires arent the best, and have stability issues. Along with the fact I cant get them to handle PNG's but all the files are there and detected..

You don't need to use ImageMagick on a coppermine install. Let it make its own thumbnails.

Well what else can I use besides ImageMagick? I really don't have any idea how to get that GD thing working..looked too complicated.
