Some help needed with connectors - urgent

Guys, I'm assembling my new comp right now and I need some help regarding:

- connecting my case's front panel to my mobo and
- connecting my case fans.

What I have:

a) Aerocool Aeroengine Jr. Black case,
b) Be Quiet! 450W ColorLine PSU,
c) ASUS K8N-E Deluxe mobo.

First question

My case has a front panel with a bunch of connectors going through the interior. Beside USB and FW connectors, there are some additional ones labeled this way:

1. L OUT
2. R OUT
3. L RET
4. R RET
5. MIC2
6. MIC PWR
7. GROUND
8. GROUND

My mobo connectors are:

A. LINE_OUT_L
B. LINE_OUT_R
C. BLINE_OUT_L
D. BLINE_OUT_R
E. MIC2
F. MICPWR
G. +5V
H. AGND

I wanted to connect them as follows: A1, B2, C3, D4, E5, F6, G7, H8. However, I'm concerned about connecting L/R RET to BLINE_OUT_L/R and GROUND to +5V. Is "RET" (I guess return) supposed to be connected to "BLINE"? +5V should be some additional voltage, shouldn't it? My case does not provide this connector but 2 ground connectors instead. How to connect them?

Second question

The front panel of my case also has a fan speed controller. There is a male two-wire molex going from it with a label "INPUT DC 12V". All three fans in my case (2x120 mm, 1x80 mm) come with two molexes each: female and male. However, there is one more molex going from the front part of my case (front intake fan?) - it's a female molex labeled "OUTPUT 0.3A 4 FAN MAX 1.2A". When I opened the case, it was connected to the front fan's male molex. How am I supposed to connect them?

I thought I would:

- connect the "INPUT" male molex from the front panel directly to my PSU's female molex,
- leave the front part's mysterious "OUTPUT" female molex connected to my front fan's male molex,
- connect the front fan's free female molex to my side window fan's male molex,
- connect the window fan's female molex to my rear fan's male molex.

That way, the front panel would have energy supply from my PSU and the regulator with 1.2A output would have all 3 fans hanging on it, thus making their speed control possible.

I guess that if I connect the fans directly to my PSU instead of the mysterious :p OUTPUT connector, the speed control built in my case would remain idle and useless, correct?

BTW, I also have a few 2-cable "FAN ONLY" molexes on my PSU. I don't think I should use them though since I don't want the PSU to automatically control my case fans - I want to control them using my case features.

I know those might be n00b questions but I AM a n00b concerning serious cooling and advanced cases so please forgive me my ignorance :)

Thanks for feedback.

DO NOT CONNECT +5V TO GROUND AND TURN THE SYSTEM ON. You might permanently damage your motherboard.

Just connect one of the grounds; you could wire all three grounds together, but it shouldn't really matter.

I would connect the other connectors as you have described. The "RET" connections might be labelled as a line-in or microphone jack, but these can usually be reconfigured by your soundcard (or onboard sound chip) to act as either inputs or outputs.

Everything on the fan side sounds about right. If you daisy-chain the fans so they're hanging off the fan speed controller, it should adjust them all at the same time (although the second and third ones might not be getting quite as much voltage and might run slower than the first). Yes, plugging the fans directly into the PSU will make them run at full speed all the time, or be controlled via the PSU if they're plugged into the "fan only" molexes.

As much as I hate doing this...
*bump*

Dude, wait more than an hour before bumping your posts... overnight is generally a bit more polite, unless you're having an urgent problem.

Sorry but my post moved to page2/3 in no time so I was a bit anxious I wouldn't get any replies at all ;) BTW, I'm posting from Europe and I had to get some sleep so I wanted to get at least some feedback before that :) Anyway, sorry for bumping.

Oh, and thanks a lot for your advice.
