Some help needed concerning processors

Well, i'm new here, mainly due to the fact that i just recently got interested in computers as a whole. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a processor using the Anand picked motherboard? I plan on using my computer for gaming and am about middle of the road price wise. Anand's picks concerining processors look good, but i really dont know what to compare them to.

What's your budget? Despite what Anand says, I find the S939 CPU's far too expensive at the moment. Then again I rarely spend more than $150 on a CPU.

Im looking at about 100-250 for my processor max. Are there good gaming processors for under 150$?
