some help downloading mp3 ringtones

How do I download mp3's that i already have to a motorola i730 for nextel.

What software and data cable do i need?

Also, i just got a Motorola V3c for verizon, and trying to do the same thing.

Any help would be good, thanks.

for the moto you need a cable, or you can upload the file to a site and download it.

for the v3, i believe it has bluetooth so you can just transfer via bluetooth if you dont have any cable.

i just got a new slvr and all i had to do was install the driver (which installed automatically) and transfer files over to the memory card. it was as easy as that.

but i think for those two phones you need motorola mobile phonetools. there's a few other softwares out there like jamdat and some other stuff but i havent used those in a while so i wouldnt know.

go to howardforums or check out some of the iden stuff to find the right software

Couldn't be easier with the V3c. Use Mobile Phone Tools to drag MP3s right into the phone. Buy the cheapest version you can get, and BVRP TS will give you a link to the newest version when you call for support.
