some guy wants to call the authority on me for using Troll Hunters

so i'm in a dispute with some guy from eBay because he never sent my item back after refunding him. (i know dumb move to refund first)
anyways, i filed a squaretrade case and he thinks that my emails were rude when i said "at any rate, thanks for the hassle" and he is not
going to send me my item back because it's taking up his time and gas mileage.
so i sent him this email:

I have posted your information including your ebay & paypal ID, all email logs and details of our transactions on 6 different Troll Hunters website. In a few months your name and information will be searchable by over 10 million people in many search engines including Google as a bad trader. I have also contacted members of Troll Hunters who live in Niles, Michigan that agreed to pay your home a visit to either request my item or take pictures of all residents at your address to be posted on various Troll Hunters websites. I?ve also been told one member who lives near Dixie Way will be at your door sometime next month to check on you as well. Please do not give him a hard time as he may request the local authorities for assistance. Any future emails you send me will be saved and posted on Troll Hunters for progress. Consider yourself served.

he replies with:
This guy has the nerve to threaten me, that he?s going send some one to my house. I am forwarding this email to the Authorities.

i'm thinking...isn't this guy an idiot if he does that? he's turning himself in...so i reply

when you spend your time and gas mileage, make sure you let them know that you broke a legal contract and you owe me over $70.
oh by the way, Troll Hunters already do work with the Authorities. I'm not sending a friend over, just a member of Troll Hunters who is aware of his legal rights. =)

You can forward anything you want to the authorities, but that doesn't mean they will do jack. Considering you have to break the law to be in trouble with the law.

Sounds like an empty threat. I can think of nothing wrong with your actions. It not like that information is private is it? I can't sue mapquest for having directions to my house can i?

stuff like this and my most recent trade on AT makes me want to stop trading!

Do you have a link to the bad trader? It's good to let us know, please!

I stay away from ebay now. Seems more corrupted each day. Thank goodness for the troll hunters.

And this guy thinks he is the law by not sending your item back. Unbelievable ignorance.

what are those directions?

Perhaps you should post his info here =)

What a puke. I've gotten burned twice on eBay, but have had around 70 successful trades, so I consider myself lucky. In the end, as long as I make more money than I lose, I'm happy to get rid of stuff I no longer need.

Good luck pal. I love it when people stick it to scumbags like this!

i didn't say he was gonna harm him or anything, it was just go get what is mine back.
if i wanted his ass beat, i'd go up there myself

Let me get this straight: he stole from you, yet he thinks he is going to call the authorities on you? 😕

What a freakin' moron...

Just wondering if the people visiting him will have to deal with dogs, pink flamingos, car parts, old rusted out chevy's and numerous kegs in the front yard?

I don't understand why people can not just live up to their word. Everyone is a liar, cheat and a crook these days.

Good luck!

That's what I was thinking, too.

well, why do Troll Hunters volunteer to go visit Trolls?

Think about it from his perspective, obviously not knowing what a "Troll Hunter" is. You are sending someone who sounds somewhat menacing to his house to "request the item" or take pictures of him and his family so you can put them all over the web.

That doesn't sound threatening to you? It sounds threatening to me. When Louie Gambino and tells me he's sending his associate over to work on my house, I'm pretty sure he's not coming to hang curtain rods.

Just be more careful with your wording. You could have easily said "I gave your address to an impartial third party in your area who will be able to come to you to pick the item up so that you don't have to waste your precious time and fuel."

It doesn't matter what he did to you first - you can still be held responsible for anything you do to him. Try not to screw yourself.
