In Virginia Beach some guy killed two people... thats not the shocking part as it happens all the time. However, read his criminal history.

Text

"According to Virginia Beach Circuit and General District court records, Crumbly is due to appear in court on Sept. 29 on charges of assault and battery and using threatening language.

Court records show he was found guilty of speeding in Chesapeake in 1997, and eight times in Virginia Beach since 1998. Last year, he was found guilty in Virginia Beach of reckless driving that resulted in an accident. He also was convicted of following too closely during an accident in Virginia Beach in 2003.

He was convicted in Virginia Beach in 1996 of driving with a revoked driver?s license, and was fined twice for driving on a suspended license, once in 1998 and again in 2001.

He was found guilty in Virginia Beach of marijuana possession in 1994, and was sentenced to four years in prison in 1998 for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, with all but a month suspended. In 2000, he was put on supervised probation for 99 years.

In 2002, he was found guilty in Virginia Beach of possessing heroin and drug paraphernalia, and was fined and sentenced to two years in prison, all suspended. In 2003, he was convicted of grand larceny and given another two-year, suspended prison sentence.

In June, he was fined in Virginia Beach for possession of marijuana."

So why do we still let people like this drive?

What the hell is wrong with the US legal system?
In 2000, he was put on supervised probation for 99 years.

In 2002, he was found guilty in Virginia Beach of possessing heroin and drug paraphernalia, and was fined and sentenced to two years in prison, all suspended. In 2003, he was convicted of grand larceny and given another two-year, suspended prison sentence.

So while on lifelong probation he got a 2 year suspended sentence, then got another one within a year, and yet wasn't in jail because the second sentence was suspended as well?
WTF?!

WTF? That judge needs to be voted out of office. What the hell kind of lawyer does that guy have to keep getting off? Is he a celebrity?

Exactly my point.

1. Overcrowded jails
2. He could have been driving without a license at all.

Yeah but the point is that he was on probation, got convicted while on probation, got the two year sentence suspended, got convicted again still on probation, got the two year sentence suspended, and was still FREE (as in not in jail) to run these people over.

It's because as a society we tolerate this kind of behavior. Where are the protest? The rallies? PEOPLE DON'T GIVE A SH*T ANYMORE! People have this menality that if it doesn't happen to them then they don't have to worry about it.

we've gotten so big that we feel we will live forever.

I'll protest, but I live in Arkansas,

no one protests in Arkansas
