I remember him saying earlier that he wanted to only crunch after hours to make sure that it didnt interfere with the operation of the machines during the day. If it interfered with the operations during the day, he would end up having to remove the client. I agree with him totally...hell, look at the excellent numbers he is getting now, no need to get greedy😉

Believe me, I've been tempted to run the service 24/7 on the nocturnal acres. However, I'm not going to take the chance. Although I do have permission to run the service, I could see that taken away quickly if anyone complains about their machine running slowly. The majority of the nocturnal acres boxes are in our accounting department, and many of those machines are slow Celerons. I think we've purposesly recruited only the whiniest and complainingest (not really a word, but you know what I mean 😉 ) accountants to work for us, and the head of the department is not a very nice person, so I'm not going to push my luck. As much as I want to help the team, 60% of 103 acres is better than 100% of none.

This is going to be a horribly busy week for me. I'll try to to get a crop report out as soon as possible, but looking at my schedule, I don't know when that will happen. The good news is that I recently discovered 10 P4 1.7 GHz machines were added to the system. As soon as I find out their network identification, you can be assured that they'll be planted quickly! 🙂
