Carlin's funny sometimes, but some of his stuff doesn't sit right with me. I occasionally listened to some of his albums, and it sounded more like ranting and swearing about things/people he hates rather than actual comedy

That's his newer stuff. Listen to Class Clown or A Place For My Stuff.

Those are great! :) Class Clown is probably my all-time favorite, though.

I like Steven Wright. (Don't know if he's got an album, though.)

Carlin was great back in the day, but I don't know if he's done any original material lately. His comparison between football and baseball is classic :D

Bill Engvall is pretty funny.

Foxworthy's Tottally COmmited is hilarious

Robert Schimmel is also pretty good.

Steven Wright had a live album I had YEars ago that was a riot.

George Carlin as already mentioned. Also Richard Pryor. The Chris Rock HBO special is good too. And Steve Harvey did an HBO special a few years ago that was hilarious.

Not just was but still is funny. It is a shame it is not on DVD and the VHS is out of print.

Bill Engvall's comedy about giving signs to stupid people that say "stupid" on them. :D

I saw this guy in a parkinglot with a coathanger through the top of his closed window. I couldn't help myself.... I asked "so, lock your keys in your car?"
He replied with "nope, just washed it and now I'm gonna hang it up to dry."

Cheech and Chong "Big Bambu". If you find one with the "paper" still intact it's worth some cash.

Eddie Murphy's Delirious is the funniest thing I have ever heard in my life.
I don't think RAW is that funny.
I have found both on AudioGalaxy.
