:awe:

Shut it you imbecile. I like how you made no mention of the policy in your first comment, btw.

At the very minimum, a game taken out of cellofane = used, handled, no longer holds it's value as new.

Jeebus you sound pathetic.

I made no mention of the policy because you said you bought a used game, with a 'used sticker' on it. Which, I took to mean the proper 'pre-owned' sticker. So, was it a new game that had been opened (and possibly not played) or was it a pre-owned game?

Opening the wrapper does not make it used, especially when it comes to something that is near infinite use with no shelf life. And, at what point does a car become used? After someone drives it the first time? You want a different definition of used for every product?

It was juvenile of me to call you an imbecile.

One of us thinks it's bullshit to charge full price for an opened game, one doesn't.

Let us go on our merry way now.

There are non sealed copies that can be checked out by employees, yes. However, it isn't allowed for new releases. However, you can request (and receive) a sealed copy if you wish. The term used gets thrown around a lot, with ambiguous meaning. Are new cars that have been test driven used? And guess what? People who work at dealerships can also drive home the cars. Are those cars then used? Ever bought a diamond? No diamond can be classified as used, so paying for a 'new' one doesn't mean it came from the mines.

You didn't get a previously owned copy (one that Gamestop took as a trade-in) for the new retail price. Didn't happen.
I still expect an open-box discount.

Lots of regions have local laws that may or may not treat Gamestop like a pawn shop. Some require your driver's license and can't sell what you traded for 30 days in case the police need to see it.
