I know nothing about the care and maintenance of a Forum. I have noticed some things that may or may not be of value and thought I'd share them in case there was any value to the observations.
I clicked into the Forums this morning at 06:38 AM EST logging in using a stored cookie. (All times given from this point will also be EST.) At the top right, it shows that I last visited Today at 05:16 AM. Now last evening I did come in very briefly using Tapatalk but I shut Tapatalk down using Task Manager on my phone afterwards. That would have been sometime between 09:30 PM and 10:00 PM I guess. I really didn't pay attention to what time it was.
In addition to the above discrepancy, There were no unread threads when I clicked in this morning. None. So from the perspective of the Forum software, DB, whatever keeps track of such things, there were no new posts since I last logged in. Obviously this can't be true.
This has been going on for a long, long time and for whatever reason, today I decided to share the observation. It's not something I noticed today for the first time.
I'm not asking for an answer or even a reply, I just wanted to share this in the off chance that there was any value to it.
