some feedback please?

i'm trying to design a new website, my own.. will be purchasing the domain name and webspace tomorrow...

anyway, i'm beginning the rough code on it. but i'm the absolute worst graphic designer this world has ever seen.


any help? i really dont know where to start i dont have any flair for art and design AT ALL...

here's my preliminary sketch. here.

it's just a jpg... anyway, i'm going to be using dhtml menus out of the bottom, and a nice neat taskbar that will hold the menus. any thoughts?

i kind of like the black and orange, but i aggree the green and green looks sh1tty... like i said, i cant do graphic design AT ALL...

Think about starting with a template and modifying it perhaps...

i dont want to use a template, i'm hardset on starting from scratch. i got all the books to learn it, it's pretty much gonna be a crash course in it.
