(AP) -- If you ever wince after opening your cable bill, you're not going to like this: The good folks in Glasgow, Kentucky pay $19 a month for 70 cable channels, and for an additional $25 they can get blazing fast Internet access.

Why don't the electric companies offer this where I live? I would jump on it in a heartbeat. :|

Down here the Telephone companies are offering TV now. Its called NexTV. I haven't checked into it yet but will soon. :D
Comcast is getting rediculous.

Edit: BTW...Comcast = Microsoft. MS owns most if not all of Comcast.

Here on Long Island... we don't know Microsoft. We know Cablevision. They're THE monopoly. ;)

Shame Lexington KY doesn't have any city-owned utilities and even if they did, they wouldn't do it for fear of driving away existing business.
