It's ridiculous.
Why does everyone wake up and need their projects done at the same time?
Let's try to spread it out a little over the months folks.

Yes, ATOT is my blog.

Completely swamped. I probably won't leave the office until midnight at least.

I work for an ad agency, and often get stuff that has to go out the same day or the next day. It's like a new product ended up on a marketing guy's desk, completely surprising him and he calls us needing a shelftalker in stores by the end of the week... Makes me think there's nobody doing any real planning sometimes.

But hey... it pays the bills, and I get paid overtime :)

I work in an in-house marketing department, and I can feel rivan's pain.

Most of the time I'm sitting around surfing the net (can't post on Anandtech...grrrr), but some days it's absolutely insane.

Yeah, I used to work in publishing. Insane deadlines, crazy pressure. I don't miss it.

I feel the same way. The last two days at work have run me ragged. Monday and Tuesday though were quiet and uneventful. I ended up watching movie previews in my cube most of those days.

If I watch movie previews I don't make money.
I work for myself.
Guess what, it's 1:30 AM and I'm still at the freaking office. :(

I am really busy ~March through October. During the winter months, I am pretty much sitting around doing nothing all day. Not that I am complaining. :)

<-- lowly helpdesk tech.
