What kind of rigs do you guys have that run over 1400mhz?
Chip, Heatsink, Mobo, Case, and any special cooling.

I'm getting ready, within the next month -> 2 months to build a super rig.

Damn looks like I just missed the grade by 50Mhz...

Still burning this 1.2 Tbird in though.

Yeah, I realize that, but I'm curious about overclocking success beyond that point. Some people are doing it, and I'm wondering what they did to get there.

😎

Pentuim 4 1.5GHZ @ 1.875 GHZ, Asus P4T MB , $9 Cool Master Cooler w/Global Win 60mm Fan. Very Easy just set the FSB to 125 and enjoy

Right now my 900TB runs at 1.098 with 9x122. I am hoping to push it further, but this is only its second night to run.

Darrin:

What are the markings on your chip? I got my 1.2ghz TBird (OEM) today, run the same HSF and mobo as you do. What's the trick?

Pentium IV 1.5 @ 1.8gig 120 bus speed
Asus P4T, Using Thermaltake Indigo Orb at 1.775 volts
can't get 1.9 stable so i decided to keep it at 1.8 at a low voltage

NOS440:
How come you use hollywood decoder card with a Geforce2 Ultra? Can't the Geforce2 do the decoding just fine?

Zero

Urinal Mint - I'd did not pay any attention to see if it had the AXIA code on it. I just saw it was a week 3 chip with blue core. I did put some Arctic Silver and a better fan on my northbridge.

ahsumdude - shut up Chuck before I slap you. 😉 - At least mine is up and running. 😀

Used to run my TBird 1.2 @ 1.4 (10x140). Couldn't stand for the Delta fan noise, replaced the fan, lowered the voltage, and back it up to 1.33 (10x133) now.

billabong - Why not. I don't have any experiences with Intel processors bu tI thought they could be overclocked too. I saw someone that was running theirs at 1.8gig.

P4 1.5 @ 1800
15x120x1.750v.
Thermaltakes Golden Orb
Artic Silver rev.1 grease
@ 122 it becomes unstable
@ 125 it won't even post
