Some crazy loon is pounding on the front door of my building...

I was sitting here watching the news when I started to hear loud noises outside my apartment. I opened my door and realized that someone is out there pounding on the front door of the building.

What scares me is that the lock is busted on the door, and everyone who lives in the building knows that. Basically, I've got a nutjob outside; either one of my neighbors is all cracked out or too fscked up to figure out how to get in the building (it wouldn't be the first time), or one of the local whackos/addicts/beggers is going nuts. In my old apartment (roughly 10 blocks away) I wouldn't have thought twice about unlocking the door for anyone, but now I'm thinking some bars would go nicely on my windows.
