WTS: AMD G34 6174 (4) - SR-X - Rog Xpander - Asus Mars
*DISCLAIMER* i don't know if posting this sort of thing is against the rules, or out of place in this forum, but i thought it was pertinent b/c its high-end crunching gear if you have the $$$. if it is, please feel free to lock it up mods.
anyways, this guy on [H]ard Forums is selling his SR-X board along with 4 AMD 6174 12-core (socket G34) CPUs. he has some other interesting items as well. his pictures show what appear to be either 4 Noctua dual 92mm or 120mm coolers in push/pull configuration...he doesn't specify if the coolers are included in his pricing, or if they're even for sale at all. you Folders could do some real damage w/ this gear.
*EDIT* - the seller mentions that the Noctua coolers are not for sale later in the thread. also, i just realized that the SR-X is a dual socket 2011 board for Xeon CPUs, and that the quad socket G34 board in his picture is also not for sale...so i guess one would have to buy alot more stuff to turn either 4 AMD 6174 CPUs or an EVGA SR-X board into a crunching machine...
needless to say, if i had a few grand to toss around, i'd be all over this, but unfortunately i don't. so i felt it was my duty to bring it to the TeAm's attention. Mark, you should buy yourself this as a "get well" gift after you get that tumor removed...*cough* *cough* 😉
